Lake of the Woods Brewery Tours

Kenora

Lake of the Woods Brewing company is located in a 100+ year old historic fire hall in down town Kenora, ON.

Details

The brewery tour begins on the second floor of the 105 year old fire hall that houses the brewery and taproom. Guests will enjoy a pint while learning about the history of the building and the history of the original Lake of the Woods Brewery that operated in Kenora from 1898 to 1954. The tour will then continue into the Brewery where guests will learn how the beer is made and about the unique processes used. There are usually a few brewers around and they often join in on the conversation. Tours usually last about 40 minutes and cost $12 per person. The daily cruise starts from Kenora’s scenic waterfront and takes you past Coney Island’s beautiful public beach, then heads south on a spectacular circle route of the northern section of famed Lake of the Woods (14,500 islands, 65,000 miles of shoreline).
